On April 27, 2023, Tien Thinh Development Investment and Construction Joint Stock Company solemnly held the 2^nd Trade Union Congress for the 2023-2028 term. The meeting was attended and chaired by Comrade Tran Duc Hien - Member of the Standing Committee of the Labor Confederation - Chairman of the Trade Union of Thai Binh Economic and Industrial Zones, the Board of Management of the company. The organizing committee also included the Executive Committee of 2017-2023 term trade union and all trade union members at the unit.

In the report on the activities of the Executive Committee of the Trade Union for 2018-2023 term, Comrade Truong Thi Huyen, the Chairman of Trade Union clearly stated: The previous term faced numerous difficulties that affected the labor movement and union activities. However, with the guidance and support from the Executive Committee of the Trade Union of the Economic and Industrial Zones of Thai Binh province, the favorable conditions provided by the company's leadership, and the united determination of all workers and union members in the company, the current term of the Trade Union Executive Committee has not only achieved but also surpassed the goals set at the 2018-2023 Congress.

During the 2018-2023 term, the company's trade union has effectively fulfilled its role as a representative, protecting the legitimate rights and interests of union members and workers. It strictly adhered to the Party's guidelines, policies and laws of the State, the regulations of the enterprise, and actively participated in labor, production, and business competitions, continuously promoting innovation and technical improvement to enhance labor productivity and increase market competitiveness.

During the congress, Comrade Tran Duc Hien, Member of the Executive Committee of the Provincial Labor Federation and Chairman of the Trade Union of the Economic and Industrial Zones of Thai Binh province, represented the higher-level trade union. He delivered a speech, acknowledging and recognizing the achievements that the Trade Union of Tien Thinh Development Investment and Construction Joint Stock Company has attained in the previous term. She noted that Tien Thinh trade union interacted and cooperated in a timely manner with the higher-level trade union, faithfully adhering to the guidance, directions, and policies of the higher-level trade union in practice. The higher-level trade union highly appreciated Tien Thinh's activities in ensuring the welfare, benefits, and rights of the workers and expressed their confidence that the newly elected trade union leadership would continue to promote and achieve even greater success in the further development of Tien Thinh Trade Union.

During the congress, representatives of all employees and production unit trade union members participated in discussions on "The Role of the Grassroots Trade Union and the Responsibilities of Union Members in Building a Strong Trade Union" and "The Trade Union in Taking Care of the Lives and Policies of Company Union Members." These discussions demonstrated clear unanimity, unity, and recognition of the accomplishments of the trade union in fulfilling its main task of protecting the legitimate rights and interests of the workers.

At the congress, Comrade Duong Xuan Thinh - Chairman of the Board of Directors and General Director of the company, also expressed gratitude and acknowledged the support of the higher-level trade union for accompanying and caring about the activities of the grassroots trade union during the past period. He recognized the sense of responsibility of the Tien Thinh Trade Union Executive Committee in the 2017-2023 term and assigned tasks to the Executive Committee of the 2023-2028 term. Comrade Thinh affirmed that the company's leadership always strives to listen and find solutions to improve the quality of life for the entire staff, employees, and workers. As a representative of the company's leadership, he expressed the desire that in the upcoming term, the new trade union leadership would effectively represent the workers' voices, be dynamic and creative, and propose solutions to work together with the leadership to better take care of the workers' lives throughout the entire company.

The Congress successfully elected 05 trade union members to the new Executive Committee of the Trade Union, who are members with the necessary qualities, capabilities, knowledge and enthusiasm to lead Tien Thinh Trade Union and carry out the tasks set by the Congress. The Congress also conducted a vote to elect 03 delegates to attend the Higher-level Trade Union Congress for 2023-2028 term.
